Provide support and practical assistance to women at the service who are experiencing or are at risk of homelessness. Assist with personal wellbeing and resilience strategies, teach practical living skills and assess safety of onsite accommodation.
Key Requirement: Diploma in Community Services or similar; or equivalent practical experience.
Deliver and evaluate educational programs for older women experiencing housing need or homelessness through the Housing Older Women's Support Services (HOWSS). Engage with the community, facilitate group sessions, and work with stakeholders to ensure programs meet participant needs.
Key attribute: Experience in delivering psycho-social educational groups desired.
Provide holistic case management support to young people at risk of or experiencing homelessness who may present with complex behaviours and high needs. Liaise with other housing providers, community and government organisations that support young people.
Key Requirement: Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience in Human Services/ Social Work/ Community Service/ Youth Work fields.
